Self-learning is key in order to lead the way in acute pain management.

You might already have a good knowledge about the Approach but if you would like to know more or simply wish to reinforce what you already know then you can use the website and the self-learning materials below.

Once you feel confident, click the icon above to take the 10-minute online test to find out how much you have learned. Taking the test and achieving a result of 75% or above will generate a certificate to validate that you have completed the online RADAR learning module for your training folder.

If you are an HCA, click the icon above to download the healthcare assistant workbook. As a HCA, you have direct interaction with patients in the clinical setting and should therefore play a large part in the management of their pain. Use the workbook to help you learn what you can do to make patients more comfortable and when to report a patient's pain.
